  • All I recommend is a notebook and a cup of tea or coffee :) The course is structured into 4 segments and I recommend you write down actionable steps and goals for each of those segments:

    • composition

    • color

    • interest

    • portfolio

    You will need your favorite design program: Procreate, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Affinity. This course is not software-specific, however, I am giving a few extra bonus tips for Affinity users in some lessons.

  • No, this course doesn't teach you how to create technical repeat patterns. I could recommend my other pattern design courses for Affinity Designer users.

  • Gumroad is an e-commerce platform that allows creators to sell products directly to their audience, which apparently has been on the market since 2011. It extremely popular with selling digital products, such as digital illustration brushes, but also online courses and tutorials.

    After Skillshare changed their payment model in September 2022, I needed to diversify and start offering my courses outside of Skillshare. The main reason: my income on SK was reduced by half.
