Many times classes don't teach in a way that my mind works, so I might have a good idea of how the tools work for certain applications, but no idea of how I might use them. This is not the case here!!! The class was organized so that I got a general idea of how the program works, then only enough details on each tool to get me started. No long boring descriptions of things I'd never use. Very, very helpful!!!!!

    This class was so well done. Weronika is an excellent teacher. Her speaking is clear, she is concise in explanations, reviews what each section was about, and gives you items to practice at the end of the section. I am not new to Affinity designer on the iPad but I learned more today in her class than I have in other beginner classes. I am not sure if my favorite thing learned was the duplicate gesture, the masking with the engraving brushes, or being able to change the stroke design with the brushes. If you are new are even recently new to Affinity designer on the iPad - I highly recommend taking Weronika's class. I am looking forward to taking all her classes!

  • It's perfect for complete beginners! My video courses are very beginner-friendly and targeted at people who have zero or little experience with Affinity software. They're also suitable for more experienced designers and illustrators who perhaps wish to transition from Adobe software into Serif tools (Designer, Photo, Publisher).

  • Any version of Affinity Designer, however, you will profit the most if you have the iPad version. I will be showing my demonstrations in mainly Designer V1, and partially in V2, so that you can follow along regardless whether you updated to V2. I released this course in September 2022 - the timing was quite unfortunate because Serif released V2 in November 2022. Hence the lower price point :) However, this course contains all the necessary BONUS material covering V2. Everything else that I'm showing in V1, also applies to V2 because it's still pretty much the same software.

  • No, this course is a pure introduction to the software and to vector graphics in general, focusing on the iPad version.
